Job Description:

Join us at our Vallejo, CA headquarters as an experienced and dynamic Account Designer. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping events from the initial client interaction to the final execution. Your responsibilities will encompass contract negotiation, design, and ensuring the flawless execution of events. You will be a key player in our marketing initiatives, driving new client acquisition and delivering exceptional event experiences.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in event design, sales, or technical A/V production.

  • In-depth knowledge of theatrical design, audio/video services, or event design.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and maintain high quality standards.

  • Positive attitude, robust leadership skills, and a knack for teamwork.

Education and Experience:

  • Background in event sales, theatrical design, lighting, audio, video, or related fields.

  • Event or production experience is essential.

  • Proven track record in managing teams and meeting deadlines.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and client relationship expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professionalism with clients and colleagues.

  • Grow and maintain an active client base with effective sales and relationship-building strategies.

  • Develop event proposals, timelines, and A/V & Lighting diagrams.

  • Oversee the design and installation of lighting, audio, and video systems.

  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Stay updated with design trends, event production, vendor products, and new technologies.

  • Identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

  • Collaborate closely with event producers and team members.

  • Foster a positive and enthusiastic work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.

  • At least 3 years of experience in event design, sales, or technical A/V production.

  • History of attracting and maintaining an active client base.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Willingness for local travel and flexible working hours.
